Puff pastry

Puff pastry comes from France. The french puff pastry is known for its airy, flaky texture and its aroma. Puff pastry has also been made by the Scottish; the so-called “scottish puff pastry” which is the most popular in Greece because of its taste and ability to be long-preserved.

Another popular puff pastry is the German one which contains butter and milk apart from margarine and that makes it very tasty but also “heavy”. That is why it is used in mini-size products only.
